When I was younger, I had a constant craving for Korean instant ramen. Unlike the American-style ramen, korean ramen tends to have a pretty spicy kick, less heavy on chicken/beef bouillion flavor. My favorite go-to for ramen will forever be Shin Ramen, since it’s a classic among Koreans. When we were younger, we would buy shin ramen in the large packs and always have it in stock in our pantry.

Nowadays, there is a wide assortment of ramen, ranging in different flavors – from spicy to mild, seafood to chicken flavor, and even bean-flavored. However, for this recipe, I will be using Shin Ramen. Feel free to substitute for a different type of ramen.
